Otoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure for the ears, done to correct protruding or large ears and move them inwards to be closer to the head. During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision in the back of your ears to expose the ear cartilage. After reshaping, adding, or removing structural ear elements to achieve your desired results, the incision opening is sutured back.
